Stock Scam Net Closes: Rs 4.78 Lakh Fraudster Nabbed
Chandigarh police have arrested a 25-year-old man, Nandlal, in connection with a major stock market fraud. The arrest follows a complaint filed by a Chandigarh resident who lost Rs 4.78 lakh to a fraudulent investment scheme.
Police investigations revealed that Rs 2.5 lakh of the stolen funds were traced to Nandlal’s bank account. He subsequently confessed his involvement in the scam.
During interrogation, Nandlal implicated several accomplices, leading to further investigations and potential arrests. The police are currently working to recover the remaining stolen funds.
