SBI’s ₹29 Lakh Gift: State-of-the-Art Cancer Care Opens at Chandimandir

A new Oncology Day Care Centre was inaugurated at Command Hospital, Chandimandir, on September 6, 2025. This much-needed facility will significantly enhance cancer treatment capabilities within the hospital.

The Centre’s establishment is a result of a commendable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by the State Bank of India (SBI). SBI contributed ₹29 lakh for the procurement of essential medical equipment.

This generous contribution not only strengthens the hospital’s infrastructure but also underscores the growing partnership between SBI and the Indian Defence Forces. The collaboration promises improved healthcare access for serving and retired personnel.

The opening of this facility is a welcome development, addressing a critical healthcare need within the defence community.
