Mohali Cracks Down on Rogue Education Firms: Licenses Revoked

Mohali authorities took decisive action against two educational consultancies, Soft Tech Education Services and Stark Global Consultants, on September 7, 2025. Their operating licenses were revoked due to serious irregularities.

The primary reasons cited for the revocation included failure to renew licenses, persistent non-compliance with existing regulations, and the unexplained closure of their offices.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Geetika Singh issued a strong warning. She stressed that the owners and operators of these firms could face personal liability for any future complaints or issues arising from their operations.

This crackdown highlights the administration’s commitment to ensuring accountability within the education sector.
