Kharar-Landran Road Upgrade: A 20-Day Sprint to Smooth Commute

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has pledged to complete the much-needed upgrade of the Kharar-Landran road within a brisk 20-day timeframe. This ambitious target was revealed following a comprehensive project review by the Deputy Commissioner (DC).

The DC’s review meeting also secured crucial support from the Municipal Council, ensuring a streamlined execution process for the project. This collaboration is vital for overcoming potential hurdles and sticking to the ambitious timeline.

Simultaneously, work commenced on the Rs 2.09 crore repair project for the Nijjar Chowk-Chhaju Majra road. This concurrent undertaking underscores the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure in the region.

The timely completion of these road projects will significantly ease traffic congestion and boost connectivity in the area, benefiting commuters and fostering economic growth. The success of this rapid upgrade will serve as a model for similar infrastructure projects across the state.
