Life Imprisonment for ASI in Naseeb Kaur Murder Case

A Mohali court delivered a strong verdict on Thursday, September 11, 2025, sentencing former Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rashpreet Singh to life imprisonment for the brutal murder of 23-year-old Naseeb Kaur in 2022.

The court found Singh guilty of not only the murder but also the destruction of evidence related to the crime. He was also slapped with a hefty fine of Rs 40,000.

Kaur’s body was discovered in a pond after she was reported missing, sparking a widespread investigation that eventually led to Singh’s arrest.
