Candidates create ruckus as SSC CGL gets cancelled

SSC CGL Chaos: Server Crash, Gate Breach at Delhi School

Over 1,400 aspirants faced disruption during the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination at MM Public School in Delhi on Friday, September 12, 2025. The exam’s first shift proceeded despite initial server glitches.

However, the second shift was completely cancelled following widespread unrest among candidates. A gate at the examination centre was reportedly damaged during the ensuing protests.

The technical issues, coupled with the candidates’ anger, led to the complete shutdown of the afternoon session. The school authorities chose not to file a police complaint regarding the damaged gate or the disruption.

This incident highlights growing concerns about the reliability of online examination systems and the potential for widespread disruption to crucial national-level recruitment processes. The impact on the affected candidates, many of whom had travelled long distances and prepared extensively, is substantial and demands immediate attention from authorities.
