Chandigarh Sangeet Sammelan: A Classical Symphony Set to Enthrall
The 47th Annual Chandigarh Sangeet Sammelan is all set to captivate music lovers. The three-day extravaganza commences on September 19 at Strawberry Fields High School.
Organised by the Indian National Theatre and Durga Das Foundation, the festival promises a rich tapestry of Indian classical music.
Renowned Carnatic Veena maestro Ramana Balachandran will enthral audiences with his virtuosity. The rhythmic brilliance of Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra’s tabla ensemble is another highlight.
Vocal performances by the celebrated Ruchira Kedar and Pt. Iman Das are also scheduled. The event will conclude with a Hindustani vocal recital by the legendary Pt. Ram Deshpande.
