Punjab Police Net Bishnoi Gang Hitman, Arms Seized
Punjab Police have arrested Himanshu Sood, a suspected operative of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, on July 7, 2025. Sood, acting on instructions from Namit Sharma, based in Dubai, was apprehended following a swift police operation.
Three pistols and seven cartridges were recovered during the arrest. The police investigation revealed Sood’s alleged involvement in a shooting incident targeting a Haridwar hotelier.
Further investigations suggest Sood was planning additional targeted killings. An FIR has been registered, and the police are pursuing all leads to unravel the extent of the gang’s operations.
The arrest is a significant blow to the Bishnoi gang’s activities in Punjab and beyond.
