Dhuri Gets a Connectivity Boost: 17 Villages Linked by New Roads

The Punjab government has sanctioned the construction of 12 new link roads in Dhuri, at a total cost of Rs 12.89 crore. This significant infrastructure project aims to improve connectivity for 17 villages in the region.

The foundation stones for these vital roadways were laid on July 8, 2025. The project is slated for completion within four months.

Improved connectivity is expected to enhance road safety and stimulate economic activity in the beneficiary villages. This development directly impacts a significant portion of the local population, bringing much-needed infrastructure upgrades to the area.

The timely completion of this project will be crucial for boosting rural development and ensuring better access to essential services for the residents of these 17 villages. This initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to improving rural infrastructure and fostering economic growth in Punjab.
