Cybersecurity Boost: CERT-In, BITS Pilani Join Forces

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani Group have joined hands to bolster India’s cybersecurity infrastructure. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on July 10, 2025, to launch specialized professional development programs.

These programs aim to equip professionals from government, public sector undertakings, and the private industry with advanced cybersecurity skills. The collaboration signifies a proactive approach to tackling the ever-evolving cyber threats facing the nation.

The initiative will focus on creating a robust and skilled cybersecurity workforce. This is crucial given the increasing reliance on digital technologies and the growing sophistication of cyberattacks.

This partnership between a leading academic institution and the nation’s premier cybersecurity agency promises to significantly enhance India’s digital security posture. The success of this initiative will be vital in safeguarding India’s critical infrastructure and digital economy.
