Himachal Pradesh Bus Crash: 32 Devotees Injured Near Namhol

A horrific bus accident near Namhol, Himachal Pradesh, left 32 pilgrims injured on Friday, July 11, 2025. The bus, carrying devotees from Punjab to a religious site in Himachal, veered off the road.

The injured were rushed to AIIMS Bilaspur for treatment. The bus driver is receiving care at the Civil Hospital, Markand.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited the injured at AIIMS Bilaspur. He assured them of full support and instructed hospital authorities to provide immediate and comprehensive medical care.

This incident highlights the urgent need for improved road safety measures on pilgrimage routes in the state. The government must ensure regular maintenance of roads and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies in the future.
