Chandigarh IT Park Bust: Notorious Drug Peddler Nabbed

Chandigarh Police made a significant arrest on July 12, 2025, detaining known drug trafficker Harshvardhan Naharwal, 43, near Sector 24’s IT Park.

The arrest yielded a substantial haul: 23 grams of MDMA and 150 grams of charas were recovered from Naharwal’s possession.

Naharwal has been charged under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

A local court remanded him in six days’ police custody to facilitate a thorough investigation into his drug supply chain and network.
