Gohana Traders, DCP Dabas Pledge Joint Fight Against Crime

DCP Bharti Dabas held a crucial meeting with Gohana traders on July 12, 2025, focusing on bolstering law and order in the area. The meeting underscored a collaborative approach to tackling crime.

The DCP stressed the importance of installing CCTV cameras in shops and businesses. Minimising cash transactions and promoting cashless payments were also highlighted as key preventative measures.

Traders were urged to promptly report any suspicious activity, particularly drug-related offences. Positive feedback on the police’s recent efforts was received during the meeting.

Responding to trader concerns, DCP Dabas assured increased police patrolling near schools and markets. Strict action against public hookah and drug use was also promised.

Traffic violations will also be dealt with firmly, with the traffic police intensifying enforcement in the coming days. This collaborative effort aims to create a safer and more secure environment for Gohana’s residents and businesses.
