Construction on Karnal’s much-anticipated “Smart Road” project finally commenced. The project, costing Rs 7.92 crore, aims to significantly improve connectivity between Meerut Road and Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk.

Delayed by the recent monsoon season, the project is now expected to be completed within six months. High-quality bituminous concrete will be used in its construction.
