IndiGo Takes Flight to Boost Singapore Tourism
IndiGo, India’s leading budget carrier, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) on July 29, 2025. This one-year agreement aims to significantly increase Indian tourist traffic to Singapore.
The partnership leverages IndiGo’s extensive domestic network to promote Singapore as a prime destination for both leisure and business travel. The airline will actively promote Singaporean tourism through various marketing channels.
This collaboration is expected to benefit both parties. IndiGo anticipates a boost in bookings, while Singapore hopes to attract a larger share of the lucrative Indian tourism market.
The MoU marks a significant step in strengthening India-Singapore ties, particularly in the tourism sector. This strategic move is crucial as India’s outbound tourism sector continues its robust growth, presenting a substantial opportunity for Singapore.
