Instagram Trap: Panipat Teen Raped, Accused Nabbed After Saharanpur Hotel Ordeal
A sixteen-year-old girl from Panipat fell victim to a horrifying crime, allegedly raped by a youth she befriended on Instagram. The accused, after establishing contact online, travelled to Panipat on July 30, 2025.
He picked the girl up from her school, taking her to a hotel in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where the alleged rape occurred. He subsequently returned her to Panipat.
The traumatised girl’s family immediately lodged a complaint with the Panipat police. A swift investigation has led to the arrest of the accused.
