Himachal CM, Dy CM Mourn Galwan Valley Tragedy

Chief Minister Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Agnihotri expressed profound grief over the tragic demise of an Army officer and a Lance Dafadar in the Galwan Valley on July 31, 2025.

Their vehicle was struck by a large boulder, resulting in the unfortunate loss of life. The state government offered its deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister also wished for a speedy recovery for any soldiers injured in the incident.

This tragic event underscores the risks faced by our brave soldiers deployed in challenging terrains, highlighting the need for enhanced safety measures and support for our defence personnel. The nation stands united in mourning their sacrifice.
