Goans Hockey secured a narrow but exciting 2-1 victory over Jammu & Kashmir in the first Division ‘C’ match of the day. The match, played on August 1, 2025, saw a closely fought contest between the two teams.
Prachi Parshuram Yadav opened the scoring for Goans Hockey in the 16th minute, followed by a goal from Rubi Rathore just three minutes later. This gave Goans a comfortable lead going into the second half.
Jammu & Kashmir fought back valiantly in the second half, with Anjali pulling one back in the 34th minute. However, despite their efforts, they were unable to find the equaliser.
