Meanwhile, on a separate note, fast-track courts across the nation have shown remarkable progress in clearing a massive backlog of child abuse cases. Over 3.25 lakh such cases have been disposed of.
Uttar Pradesh reported the highest number of disposals, reflecting the state’s commitment to swift justice for vulnerable children. However, challenges remain in ensuring effective implementation and support for victims across all states.
