Twenty-year-old Shawaal Zulfiqar has been drafted into the Pakistan women’s cricket team, replacing the injured 26-year-old Fatima. The news broke late on August 1, 2025.

Zulfiqar, who participated in a recent 24-player skills camp in Karachi, has already represented Pakistan in seven T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals.

She will travel from Lahore to Karachi to join the squad before their departure for Ireland on August 3, 2025.
