Haryana Cop Kills Live-in Partner: Jealous Rage Ends in Arrest

A Haryana Police constable, Ravindra, has been arrested for the murder of his live-in partner, Sangeeta. The incident took place on July 24th in Sohna.

The arrest followed a heated argument between the couple, allegedly sparked by Sangeeta’s interactions with other people. Ravindra, overcome by jealousy, strangled her.

Following the crime, Ravindra fled to Madhya Pradesh and later to Jaipur, Rajasthan, before being apprehended in Palwal, Haryana.

He subsequently confessed to the crime during interrogation. The case highlights a grim reality of domestic violence and the urgent need for stronger protective measures for women. This incident sends shockwaves through the state, questioning the very integrity of law enforcement.
