Tragedy Strikes Reasi: SDM, Son Perish in Landslide
A devastating landslide in Reasi district claimed the lives of a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and his son on August 2, 2025. The incident occurred while the SDM was travelling to his village.
A massive boulder crashed into their vehicle, resulting in the immediate deaths of the SDM and his son.
The SDM’s wife and two others travelling with them sustained injuries and are receiving medical attention.
