UP Migrant Worker Crushed to Death in Rajasthan Marble Quarry
A tragic accident claimed the life of a migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh on August 3, 2025. Ramesh Kumar, hailing from a village in UP, perished in Bohni village, Rajasthan.
Kumar was unloading marble slabs from a truck when the heavy load collapsed, crushing him. He died instantly at the scene.
Local authorities were informed, and a post-mortem examination was conducted. His body was subsequently released to his grieving family.
This incident highlights the precarious working conditions faced by many migrant labourers across India, underscoring the urgent need for stricter safety regulations and better enforcement in the construction and mining sectors to prevent such preventable deaths.
