Pakistani Hand in Pahalgam Terror: LeT Links Confirmed
Security agencies have confirmed the involvement of Pakistani nationals in the recent Pahalgam terror attack. Three terrorists were identified, their identities verified through a range of evidence.
Government documents, along with biometric data obtained from Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), played a crucial role in confirming their nationalities.
Digital footprints further solidified the investigation, revealing strong links to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group. These links extend to high-ranking LeT operatives.
Specifically, the investigation points to the LeT’s south Kashmir operational chief and the Rawalakot chief as being involved in planning and execution of the attack.
This confirmation underscores the persistent threat posed by cross-border terrorism and the need for strengthened security cooperation to counter such attacks. The revelation is likely to further strain already tense Indo-Pak relations and raise serious questions regarding Pakistan’s commitment to combating terrorism.
