Rs 70 Crore for Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Legacy: Punjab’s Grand Martyrdom Anniversary Plans
The Punjab government has announced a significant allocation of Rs 70 crore for the development of 35 sites in Patiala linked to the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur. This initiative commemorates the 350th anniversary of his martyrdom.

Commemorative events are scheduled to begin on November 19, 2025. These will include state-wide yatras, exhibitions showcasing the Guru’s life and teachings, and a special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
