SSC Exam Fiasco: NSUI Takes on Eduquity, Demands Tender Cancellation

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) launched a strong protest in Shimla today, August 4, 2025, against alleged irregularities in recent Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations. The students’ union voiced serious concerns over the conduct of the exams.

NSUI activists highlighted widespread technical glitches that plagued the online examination process. They also criticized the arbitrary allocation of exam centers, causing significant inconvenience to candidates.

The protest specifically targeted Eduquity, the firm responsible for conducting the exams. NSUI demanded immediate action against those responsible for the mismanagement and the cancellation of all future tenders awarded to Eduquity.

The students’ union warned of escalating their agitation if their demands are not met promptly. The disruption caused significant distress among aspiring candidates, impacting their future prospects.

This incident underscores the urgent need for greater transparency and accountability in the conduct of crucial competitive examinations. The future of countless young aspirants hangs in the balance, demanding immediate and decisive action from the authorities.
