Admission Chaos: Parents to Protest Post-XI Counselling

Following the second round of Class XI counselling on August 4, 2025, a storm of discontent brewed amongst parents. A staggering 72 complaints have been filed, highlighting systemic flaws in the admission process.

Many parents allege their children’s names were omitted despite receiving online confirmations. Others sought the reversal of seat allocations from the first counselling round.

The discrepancies have left many parents frustrated and disillusioned. Their collective anger is now set to boil over into a planned protest.

The situation underscores the urgent need for improved transparency and efficiency in the state’s education system. This incident raises serious concerns about the reliability of online admission systems and the potential for widespread disruption to students’ academic futures. The planned protest is expected to bring this critical issue to the forefront of public discourse.
