US Child Kidnap: Kapurthala Cops Crack Case, Child Reunited with Family
Kapurthala Police swiftly apprehended Siminder Kaur and Ajitpal Singh on August 4, 2025, for the abduction of an 11-year-old US citizen. The child, a ward of his grandmother, was reported missing earlier.
A multi-agency operation, involving local police, intelligence units, and officials from the US Embassy, tracked the child to Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Following a successful search operation, the child was safely recovered and reunited with his legal guardian, his grandmother. The accused are currently in custody.
