Gangster Sumit Bishnoi Gunned Down in Punjab Encounter
Sumit Bishnoi, a key member of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was apprehended in Dera Bassi, Punjab, following a dramatic police encounter on August 5, 2025. Bishnoi, wanted in connection with the May 18 murder of Mahavir Sihag, reportedly opened fire on the police party.
