India’s Hiring Spree Continues: GCCs Fuel 19% YoY Rise
Recruitment activity in India surged by 19% year-on-year in July 2025, a strong indicator of a healthy job market. This comes from the latest foundit Insights Tracker (fit).
However, the report also revealed a slight slowdown. Hiring remained stagnant compared to the previous quarter. A marginal 2% month-on-month dip was also observed.
Despite the minor slowdown, Global Capability Centres (GCCs) showed remarkable resilience. Job postings in GCCs increased by a robust 12% year-on-year.
This sustained growth further solidifies India’s position as the preferred global hub for establishing high-value teams. This trend bodes well for India’s economy, particularly for skilled professionals. The continued growth in the tech sector, especially within GCCs, points towards a positive outlook for employment in the coming months.
