Kovind Inaugurates Plaksha’s New Era: Tech, Philanthropy & Global Ties Take Centre Stage
Plaksha University commenced its convocation ceremonies with a flurry of significant events on August 8, 2025. The day began with the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Usha Hasteer Auditorium.
Simultaneously, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, forging a crucial academic partnership between Plaksha University and the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Italy. This collaboration promises to enhance research and educational opportunities for students.
Adding further prestige to the occasion, the Bharti Academic Building was inaugurated by former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind. In his address, Mr. Kovind highlighted the pivotal role of education in driving technological progress and underscored the importance of private philanthropy in supporting higher education.
The main graduation ceremony is scheduled for August 9, 2025. The event will feature Dr. V Narayanan, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), as the chief guest.
