Himachal Pradesh Leaps Ahead: Sukhu’s Education Boost

Chief Minister Sukhu on August 8, 2025, distributed appointment letters to 312 drawing teachers, a significant step towards bolstering the state’s education infrastructure. This move follows the recent dispatch of students on an educational tour to Japan.

The Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), emphasising its importance for educators. He highlighted the state’s improved educational standing, now ranked 5th nationally.

Sukhu’s address also touched upon upcoming reforms and initiatives aimed at further enhancing the quality of education in Himachal Pradesh. These plans, he indicated, will build on the current progress and aim for even greater achievements.

This significant investment in education underscores the state government’s dedication to human capital development. The appointment of drawing teachers and the international exposure for students promise a brighter future for Himachal Pradesh’s youth, impacting long-term economic growth and social progress.
