Green Belt Revival: City’s Youth Lead Clean-Up Charge

The Municipal Corporation, in a collaborative effort with the Onkar Charitable Foundation and Don Bosco Navjeevan Society, spearheaded a significant cleanliness drive at a local green belt on August 8, 2025.

Around fifty enthusiastic volunteers from the “Swachh Yuva Doot” initiative actively participated in the event.

Their combined efforts focused on clearing accumulated waste and restoring the green belt’s natural beauty.

This initiative showcases a commendable public-private partnership, highlighting the crucial role of youth engagement in urban environmental conservation.

The success of this drive underscores the need for more such collaborative efforts to maintain the city’s green spaces and promote a cleaner, healthier environment for all citizens. The model could inspire similar initiatives across the nation.
