Delhi University has scaled new heights in the latest National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings, released on September 5, 2025. The university secured its best-ever position, claiming fifth place in the overall university category.

This marks a significant jump in the rankings, showcasing DU’s consistent progress in academics and research. The university also achieved a commendable 12th rank in the research category.

Adding to the triumph, DU colleges dominated the overall rankings, securing the top five spots. This reflects the high quality of education and research across its affiliated colleges.

Maintaining its strong overall position, DU secured 15th place in the overall ranking. Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh expressed immense pride in the achievement, highlighting the dedication of faculty, students, and staff.
