The incident unfolded Thursday evening, September 11, 2025, at approximately 6:30 pm. The woman claimed the driver made unwanted advances, prompting her to jump from the moving vehicle.

Following her escape, the woman further alleged receiving obscene messages from the driver. She also reported an attempt to steal her laptop.

Police are investigating the complaint. No First Information Report (FIR) has been registered yet, according to reports.

Rapido has responded swiftly, suspending the driver from their panel. This incident underscores the safety concerns for women commuters using ride-hailing services.
